The Greyhound public house, a traditional pub and restaurant that sits in a prime location on Tong Lane, has become the place of choice for residents who enjoy local cask ales and traditional pub grub. Paul Stafford, 70, who has been the landlord of the 16th-century inn since the early 2000s described the area as something of an "oasis".

We loved the cosy atmosphere and rustic surroundings. A very friendly team ran it. It has very low beams and a lot of Toby jugs depicting differing characters.
